Angela is an associate at the Firm which she joined in 2005. She has considerable experience in the area of EU & Competition law, with a focus on antitrust and merger control. Angela acts on behalf of clients in the preparation of cartel cases heard before the Greek Competition Commission and notifications to the European Commission of transactions requiring clearance, while also advising on State aid issues. She advises extensively on the application of EU law in Greece and the regulatory requirements applicable in numerous industries including media, telecommunications and energy, in particular in the context of assessing the viability of a proposed merger or acquisition. Angela has experience of conducting due diligence reviews and drafting reports, as well as identifying key issues that clients should be aware of in evaluating their proposed investments into Greece. Prior to joining the Firm, Angela worked with Dibbs, Barker, Gosling in Sydney and the Standards Board for England, and completed a traineeship with the Legal Implementation and Enforcement Unit of the Environmental Directorate-General at the European Commission in Brussels.
