Athanasia Tsene

Athanasia joined the Firm in 2001 and is Head of the Banking & Finance Group. She has an extensive track record of advising on international financial transactions, in particular the feasibility, structuring and execution of securitisations in the private sector. At the core of Athanasia’s practice is a vast experience of deal structuring and drafting. She was heavily involved in the consultation phase prior to the passing of the new securitisation law and has acted in securitisation transactions both before and after the implementation of the new legislation. She advises extensively on derivatives and collateral arrangements as well as on regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the Firm she worked with the Commercial Bank of Greece.
