Katia Papantonopoulou

Katia has been with the Firm since 2000 and is Head of the Aviation and Labour Departments. Her vast experience in the Aviation sector is focused on advising on the regulatory framework, the set up of new owning and operating structures and mergers, acquisitions and privatisation transactions. Katia has drafted and negotiated numerous agreements for the sale, finance and lease, either operative or financial, of individual aircraft and fleets. The foundations of her extensive Labour practice are advice on the regulatory and legislative frameworks, fringe benefits including stock option structures, and collective labour agreements. Prior to joining the Firm, Katia was in-house counsel to Olympic Airways for twenty-six years.
